I don't know about any of you who don't reside on the east coast, but here, it is freezing. Literally. I live so far up north that I'm only an hour away from Canada, and I've never in my life experienced such cold temperatures. Thinking about getting out of my bed this morning knowing that the high for the day was at a solid zero degrees was absolute torture. And worse? The temperature sat at a brisk -15 degrees on my way to my 8am. Needless to say, if there ever was a day to take the on-campus bus, today was it.
I'm actually really surprised that I haven't caught a cold all winter. (Knock on wood...) It may just be because I refuse to believe I have any time to get sick. In reality, I don't have any time to get sick. Side note: I'm sorry this post is up so late. 10pm snuck up quickly on me last night and I had to be up at six... Homework > Sleep > Blog
Anyway, stay warm with these tips!
Do NOT underestimate the hat.
Socks should be your best friends.
Over-the-knee socks for your boots, and load up on the warm socks. Double layer, I'm telling you!
A few of my favorites...
Cashmere Everything.
Scarves....
Sweaters...
EVERYTHING.
Wool coat, anyone?
Don't forget the staples...
Cozy gloves and hot coffee, you can't live without them.
Boots, Boots, Boots
Did you really not see this coming?
Hunter Boots (get the inserts!)
But the best thing you can do...
... is cozy up by the fire with a cup of tea!
Stay warm ladies! Let's hope this weather looks up soon!
xoxo

Love all the picks. Makes me want to cuddle up in a comfy sweater with long socks in a warm blanket and drink some hot chocolate with my little snuggle bug daughter.
